Glosol is currently implementing a robust Alarm Management System (AMS) at M/s KLJ Jhagadia, designed to streamline alarm handling, improve plant safety, and enhance operator performance. The system intelligently filters nuisance and non-actionable alarms, highlights critical events, and enables real-time monitoring, empowering operators to focus on what matters most. By minimizing alarm overload, the AMS significantly reduces response time, operator fatigue, and potential process upsets, ultimately contributing to safer and more reliable operations.
In addition to real-time alarm prioritization, the system offers powerful analytics and reporting features, allowing for continuous performance evaluation and improvement. It equips the plant with actionable insights into alarm frequency, operator acknowledgment patterns, and system bottlenecks, driving data informed enhancements to alarm philosophy and control strategies. The successful implementation of AMS at KLJ is expected to maximize operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and elevate plant safety standards, further demonstrating Glosol’s capability in delivering advanced industrial automation solutions.
Glosol is proudly executing a prestigious LSTK automation project for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) – R&D Division, as part of the development of their world-class "Indian Oil Technology Development and Deployment Centre". Envisioned as the world’s largest and most sustainable Net Zero campus, this facility sets global benchmarks in research excellence, occupational health and safety, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability, aligning with GRIHA-5 and LEED Platinum standards. Glosol’s scope includes the design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of a robust DCS system with 5000+ I/Os, a SIL-3 Safety System, and the complete field instrumentation package.
The project has achieved a major milestone with the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for both the DCS and SIL-3 systems in early 2025. Site installation and commissioning activities are currently underway, with most of the field instrumentation packages already inspected, dispatched, and ready for integration. This high-value, technology-intensive project showcases Glosol’s strength, commitment, and capability in delivering complex and large-scale automation solutions for next-generation R&D and process facilities.
Glosol is currently commissioning a DCS-based, LSTK automation project at Ascent Finechem Pvt. Ltd.’s new manufacturing facility located in Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
This advanced facility is dedicated to continuous distillation processes, where precision and uninterrupted operation are critical. The DCS has been seamlessly integrated to enable fully automated operation of the entire distillation sequence, eliminating the need for manual intervention. Scope of Work
